NASHVILLE MUSIC CITY CENTER
GENERAL CONTRACTOR: Bell/Clark JV
DCCI erected over 13,000 tons of structural steel at the new Nashville Music City Center. Included in this were seven 270' main span trusses that composed the ballroom roof and thirty-three 240' catenary arches that composed the exhibit hall roof. All 40 of these trusses and arches were set in place using state-of-the-art, computer aided strand jacks.
The complex geometry of this structure and difficult downtown site made this project a perfect match for DCCI. Notice the guitar shape of the structure and also how it is similar to the rolling hills of Tennessee.
